#11 Brain Cool Code:11 For horses with EPM this is an excellent nutritional supplement that helps strengthen and rebuild the damage to the central nervous system. We like to recommend that it is used in conjunction with the #13 Herbal Wormer, as the protozoa that causes the neurological damage in the CNS is a parasite and is dispelled by using this combination. We also like to use the #30 Digestive or the #29 LCR with these herbal combinations, as the parasite is thought to access the CNS by way of lesions in the intestinal tract. Therefore we need to address the healing of the digestive tract. #12 Feet Relief Code:12 For horses with calcium deposits in the feet, navicular, side bones, ring bone or generally any number of difficulties that are associated to the bony structure of the feet or lower extremities. If you are dealing with the soft tissue, such as the laminae(as in founder etc.) you should consider the #23 Laminae Relief.

#13 Herbal Wormer Code:13 The healthy alternative to the synthetic wormers that are currently on the market. This combination is designed to change the favorable environment of the parasites and worms and cause them to try to relocate in another part of the horse. However, in as much as the herbs are in all parts of the horse, via the blood stream, there is no favorable environment. Therefore they evacuate the system. By keeping the digestive system healthy and clean, the parasites can not re-establish. This product is fed at the rate of 1 tbs. per day for seven days one week a month. It is safe to feed to mares that are nursing foals and to weinlings and young horses. This amount is based on horse weights from 1,000 to 1,300 Ibs. (more or less if desired).

#14 Mare Fertility Code:14 This combination was designed to balance the hormonal system of the hard to settle mare. It has helped them produce a strong follicle and in many cases a mare that has not been able to conceive can be settled. Some examples of this are irritation when being hauled, ornery around other horses, and not working as well as you know they can work. #15 Fertility Boost - Stallions Code:15 Often times the stallion that has been found infertile because of low sperm count or the stallion that has lost interest in covering mares can be brought back to top production with the proper nutrition. #16 Power Dust Code:16 This is the one to use when you have the open wound. If the wound is fresh and moist, it will stimulate circulation and tissue growth by simply sprinkling the dry poultice mix directly on the open wound and then wrapping with a vet wrap. Leave it covered in like manner for 12 hours and then remove the bandage and wipe clean with a clean cloth. Reapply the poultice powder and leave exposed to the open air for 12 hours. Continue this cycle until wound is completely healed. If the wound is dry or scabbed over, you can make a poultice by mixing a small amount of water to a measured amount of the powder and applying the poultice directly to the wound and wrapping with a sweat bandage. This too should be done for 12 hours on and then 12 hours off with the dry powder put on the wound while the bandage is off. Keep on hand in your medicine chest for those emergencies.

#17 Colic Ease Code:17 If you don't have a twisted intestine or impacting you can expect to walk your horse out of his colic discomfort in about ten minutes. Simply put two scoops (2 tbs.) of the Colic Ease in a cup and add a small amount of water to it until it becomes a paste, then paste him on the back of the tongue. Walk him until he is moving freely. If you do not see favorable results within about ten minutes you are probably dealing with something other than simple colic. If you have a horse that is a chronic colic victim you should consider feeding him something on a regular basis to regenerate the flora as well as the intestinal integrity. The #30 Digestive is a specific for this cause.

#18 Joint Support Code:18 Feed when you are having a problem with the joints, or when you are wanting to prevent joint problems. Many horses need this specific herbal combination when they are showing discomfort in the kidney area(approximately where the back of the saddle fits on the back).

#19 Blood Cleanse Code:19 Use this mix whenever you have a blood oriented issue, or if you know the blood to be toxic. Many times things like sarcomas, blood warts and tumorous type growths can be dissipated using a nutritional supplement. This is a good one for those times.

#21 Bright Eyes Code:21 If you notice that your horse is not seeing as good as he should. If you are noticing cloudiness, or if you are seeing cataracts, this is the combination to use. Night vision can also be improved by feeding this supplement.

#22 Breathe Easy Code:22 This combination is designed to strengthen the respiratory system. Some indications that you may need this mix are, shortness of breath, labored breathing, coughing, or heaving, slowing down or weakening before it's time to quit.

#23 Laminae Relief Code:23 This is the combination for the soft tissue of the feet. You will generally see indications for the use of this feed as a result of founder, laminitis, wind puffs, etc. If you are dealing with the bony structure of the feet you probably need to consider the #12 Feet Relief.

#24 Immune Builder Code:24 Any time the horse experiences added stress, such as hauling, excessive work loads, dramatic feed and water changes, cold, damp weather or trauma experiences, the immune system can easily become deficient. If this happens your horse is susceptible to the bugs that are present. He is open and ready for anything that may be available to him in his present environment. Generally the thing that will tip you off that your horse needs this combination is his lethargic attitude. He will be disinterested in his feed and water, or if he coughs when you are warming him up and then quits coughing when he is warmed up. The best way to approach this is to feed it for a while before you are planning on exposing him to the stress. He will then have a strong immune system, and the bugs cannot find a strong hold with which to invade your horse. If the horse shows signs of infection (mucous from nostrils, etc.) you should also use #25 Infection Fighter in unison with this mix.

#25 Infection Fighter Code:25 This is the herbal answer to the synthetic anti-biotic that kill all bacteria they encounter, pro and anti alike. This infection fighter is made up of herbs that are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, as well as having support herbs that are designed to evacuate the anti-bacteria when they are picked loose ftom the system. Indications for the use of this mix is when you have an obvious show of infection, such as infection in an open wound, infection coming from the nostrils or other openings, such as the rectum or vaginal tract, eyes, ears, etc. Except in extreme cases this can be fed for 10 days and then discontinued for 3 days and then fed again for 3 days. #26 Thyroid Code:26 This is the combination to use if you know that your horse has a thyroid condition. Things that you can be suspicious of a thyroid disorder, are over or under weight or swelling under the throat latch or the protruding of the eyes.

#27 Liver Code:27 Indications for the use of this combination are a soreness at the liver meridians. You often times will notice an almost defensive attitude, from the horse, when you touch him or rub him too hard on the right side by the last rib. This horse will, most generally, not want to work as hard to the right as he will to the left. These are the outward signs of the need, but the liver is a filter for the blood and if the liver is not working properly the blood is being recirculated without being properly cleansed. Therefore the toxins are not being properly filtered and the horse is suffering at the cellular level.

#28 Pituitary Code:28 The Pituitary or the "master gland" is responsible for some of the bodies intricate functions, such as hair growth, lactation, and growth. It also controls the growth of the thyroid and helps to trigger thyroid hormone release, as well as bring about muscle and bone growth. An inability to shed the hair is one visible sign of a possible pituitary problem. A competent veterinarian would be best suited to diagnose this condition for you.
