What is the Equinix Photonic Torch? The Equinix Photonic Torch is the use of light instead of needles, to stimulate traditional acupuncture points within a human's or horse's body. A note from Marty: Finally I found the last piece of the puzzle---why some horses would continue getting sore in certain parts of their bodies after several weeks of light therapy. In most cases after 5 or 6 treatments with the photonic Torch most chronic soreness would leave, but I had a few horses that were about to drive me crazy. There were two horses that no matter how much time was spent using the light, 4 or 5 days later they were as sore as the 1st day over the kidney area. This went on for about a year. I had a gelding that couldn't stand for anyone to brush his sides along the lower part of the last rib. He would kick hard if you touched him around the stifle area. The light would take away the soreness for about two days, then he would be back to his old ways, kicking and trying to get away. We took him to the vet thinking it was his stifles. His stifles were fine, so what was going on? I heard about Silver Lining Herbs and was impressed that they had certain herbs for certain conditions; like soreness in the kidney area. HMM-- I put the 2 horses that kept getting sore over the kidneys on Silver Lining Herbs Kidney. Two weeks later the soreness was gone in both horses, and the soreness has not returned. The gelding that we put on Silver Lining's LIVER: The liver meridian runs up the inside of the back leg and across the inside of the stifle, then continues to run along the lower part of the rib cage. In less than two weeks we had a different horse. No soreness or kicking.
